Join Ms. Becca for a storytime to celebrate Black History Month! Children can learn about the vast diaspora of African American cultures through stories highlighting amazing authors, singing African folk songs, and creating your own African Djembe drum!
Each culture has their own beliefs, traditions, and ways of life. Learning about the cultures that make up our world and how to be respectful to all is valuable and enriches our lives. Black History Month is recognized in the U.S. and other countries around the world to acknowledge and remember the achievements, contributions, and accomplishments of African Americans. Let’s celebrate these figures who built and contributed to the advancement of society!
