Literacy | Reading Buddies

Join us for Reading Buddies! Register to reserve your weekly 30 minute time slot for our New Year 2025 Session. Registration opens at 10:00 am on Saturday January 11th, 2025.

Children in grades K-4 practice reading in 30 minute sessions with a reading volunteer.  They can practice learning how to read, oral reading skills, and comprehension.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT SLOTS WILL BE ALLOCATED IN ORDER OF RECEIPT OF REGISTRATION.   There will be 12 slots available.  The first four customers to register will be allocated the 4:30 pm slot, the next four customers to register will be allocated the 5:00 pm slot, and then the last four customers to register will be allocated the 5:30 pm slot.  A limited number of walk-up slots will be available for the 6:00 pm slot.  

As an alternative, you can use our Book-a-Childrens' Librarian form to book a slot at the Hamilton Mill branch, for a different and convenient date and time.  Click here to open that form, and then answer the questions in that form.
