Origami is the art of folding paper into various shapes and figures. The word "origami" comes from the Japanese words oru ("to fold") and kami ("paper"). Origami originated in Japan, but has roots in China, where paper was invented around 105 AD.In Japanese culture, origami is often modeled after natural figures, such as animals and plants. Registration required.
