Join author Brenda S. Cox for a visual and historical journey through the churches that shaped Jane Austen's life and novels.
Jane Austen’s delightful novel, Northanger Abbey, mentions churches, a chapel, an abbey, and a cathedral. Brenda S. Cox, author of Fashionable Goodness: Christianity in Jane Austen’s England, will present photographs of such places of worship and talk about their significance, and about the church and clergy in Austen’s life and novels.
Books will be available for sale and signing.

Brenda S. Cox is the author of Fashionable Goodness: Christianity in Jane Austen’s England, which explores connections between Austen’s work, her Church of England, and prominent events and people in English Christianity. Based in Tucker, GA, she has spoken on Jane Austen and the Church in various states and five countries. Her articles on faith, science, and Jane Austen appear in magazines and on the websites janeaustensworld.com and topazcrossbooks.com
