Explore various ways to learn about the impact of waste in the environment with interactive STEM activities during our Spring Break sustainability camp.
Each day will focus on highlighting a different environmental, sustainability challenge through education chats and hands-on STEM activities. We will look at the science behind decomposition rates, ecological impact, and how this influences recycling opportunities in the community.
Monday, April 6: Exploring the impact of t-shirts in landfills.
Tuesday, April 7: Exploring plastic decomposition and Bubble snakes.
Wednesday, April 8: Exploring composting and the impact Gwinnett residents can have on greenhouse gas emissions.
