Quinones is an American journalist from Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his reporting in Mexico and on Mexicans in the United States, and for his chronicling of the opioid crisis in America in Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic.
Quinones has been ?reporting for over 30 years ?for the Los Angeles Times. His work has appeared in National Geographic, Pacific Standard Magazine, the New York Times, Los Angeles Magazine, and other publications.
