Resist cultural conventions and discuss your thoughts about death and dying with others.
What is a Death Cafe? At a Death Café, people, often strangers, gather to drink coffee or tea, enjoy cake, and discuss death. The objective of a Death Café is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.
A Death Cafe is an interactive, group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. Facilitated by Lisa Oliver, Ed.D, GC-C, Life Transition Educator, and Certified Grief Counselor of DrLisaOliver.com
Free cake and coffee.
Limited space. Registration is required.
An Advanced Care Planning Seminar with Lisa Oliver will be held virtually on February 8 at 7:00 p.m. Click here for more information and to register.
