For the past 20 years, a large percentage of shrimp along the southeast U.S. have been affected by a once-mysterious condition known as black gill. Are climate change and the rising ocean temperatures to blame?
Dr. Marc Frischer, professor of Biological Oceanography at the UGA’s Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, will discuss what is affecting Georgia shrimp and possible solutions, followed by a Q & A session.
Registration is required to access this program. Registration closes at the start of the program.
