Come listen to music and make meals linked to African Americans! We?ll explore music such as Jazz, Folk, Hip-hop, and Rock. Recipes will be pulled from the cookbook "Meals, Music, and Muses" by Alexander Smalls.
This program will guide you on how to follow recipes from a cookbook and introduce you to the library's vast cookbook collection. It will also introduce and familiarize participants with the musical history of black people in the US (particularly in the US south). Registration Required, participants must be 16+.
