Start your African American genealogy research and learn how to navigate challenges like incomplete or non-existent records.

African American genealogy has its own unique set of challenges and obstacles. Learn how to overcome the challenges of tracing African American genealogy and discover your family history, by using the tools available through free library genealogy databases — including Ancestry Library Edition and HeritageQuest.

Registration is recommended. This program will be held in the Community Room at OneStop Centerville (the same building as the Centerville branch).
