Travel the world without leaving your home! Let GCPL show you how to visit your dream destination, learn the local lingo, sample delicious cuisine, and connect with the culture even when you're stuck at home.

Each week we’ll visit a specific country or region. We will learn a few basic phrases using Mango, Languages, visit a few scenic or historical sites, read some local news, and hand out a recipe of local cuisine.
Activities will vary each meeting and may include:

  • Watching documentary clips on Kanopy
  • Learning a folk song in its native language
  • Culture-inspired crafts
  • A guest speaker to discuss life in their home country
