This workshop is designed to help students and families create a clear plan for college applications. The session will cover what colleges look for in applicants, what actions to take in each grade level, and how to start building a college list.

Kimberly Poole is an attorney and contracts negotiator with extensive training and experience as corporate, nonprofit, and municipal legal counsel. Her demonstrated deal skills have put her in positions to collaborate, lead, manage, advise, and strategize in some of the region’s most influential organizations and Fortune 500 companies. Kimberly received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Hampton University and her juris doctor and master’s degree in human resources management from the University of South Carolina. She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia. This carefully curated educational path has put her in position to serve her community in several capacities. As a student of how systems are erected and sustained, Kimberly has garnered a reputation as a thorough and unbiased historian, as well. She has served in this position for the Ivy League of South Gwinnett Interest Group and the Greater North Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and was the South Atlantic representative to the International Chapter History Book Committee of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
