Duluth Meeting RoomParents and children at the camp will become nutrition label detectives while learning how to prevent foodborne illnesses caused by harmful germs.
Parents and their children will learn essential food safety practices, such as proper handwashing and safe food handling. Through activities, participants will develop skills to understand and read Nutrition Facts labels. Participants will learn to read Nutrition Facts labels, identify key nutrients, and understand portion sizes to make better food choices.
Parents and their children will take part in preparing a healthy snacks.
