Join us for an interactive program designed to teach how paleontologists use Greek/Latin root words, physical characteristics, and size to name dinosaurs.
This program is designed to teach how paleontologists use Greek/Latin root words to identify, name, and characterize organisms into groups.
These names often highlight physical characteristics/attributes, behaviors and location of discovery. Participants will be able to practice with established Dino names and Greek/Latin root words, and will create and name their “own new dinosaur” species.
