For the month of February we will be discussing The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Discussion leader will be Emily Robinson, a DeKalb County School system, award-winning teacher.
ATLReads Virtual Book Club moderator will be Emily Robinson. She has a Masters degree in Education, is a NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellow, and a T. Lab Program Scholar at Oxford University.
F. Scott Fitzgerald’s stories are emblematic of the Lost Generation, which came of age in the years following World War I. The Great Gatsby—Fitzgerald’s most well-known novel—presents the aura of the Jazz Age in a different context, painting a wide-ranging picture of the uncertainty and upheaval faced by Americans at the time.
This month, the new 2021 beautifully illustrated version of the original 1925 edition of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic work is available at Eagle Eye Bookstore and on their website.
