Help your holiday season go smoothly. Learn how to properly dispose of fats, oils, and grease while sampling some holiday treats.
During the holiday season, the Department of Water Resources is more likely to see an increase in sanitary sewer overflow as a result of increased FOG consumption. Come learn what FOG is, why it is a problem, and how you can prevent it so you can have an uninterrupted holiday season.
Learn from a hands-on demonstration of cooking and cleaning how the proper disposal of fats, oils, and grease in our kitchens can help protect our water resources outside.
In partnership with Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources.
Free and open to the public.
Registration is recommended for this workshop.
