Local authors are invited to submit their recent work to share with the community.

Gwinnett County Public Library looks forward to celebrating Indie Author Day on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Each year GCPL provides an opportunity for independent local authors to showcase their works with author talks, readings, book sales, and signings. This exciting event aims to bring libraries, indie authors, and readers together throughout our community.

GCPL is accepting book submissions from local authors for Indie Author Day 2023. Find out more about how you might be selected to give a book talk and sell your books at one of GCPL's branches: GCPL Local Indie Author Day

Book(s) and completed online submission form must be received by August 1, 2023

Library Resources at GCPL for Writers

GCPL has many resources for writers to develop and improve their skills. In addition to various books on the topic, we offer meet-the-author events, writing workshops, writing groups, and a partnership with the Atlanta Writers Club.
