Using Learning Lab's fabric and machinery, we will walk through the process of pinning fabric, backstitching, and the basics of working with unfinished and finished seams.
Due to limited space and technology, registration for this program is limited.
Please make sure you've taken the Sewing Machine Basics course prior to registration. This program will not go over Sewing Machine Basics.
Programs are free and open to the public. Access to the Learning Labs is free with a GCPL library card. Out-of-county patrons can purchase a full-access library card for $40 a year.
About the Learning Labs
The Learning Labs is Gwinnett County Public library’s community makerspace. Here you can create podcasts, video, and photography content and design digital and printable graphics using the full Adobe Creative Suite. Your imagination is the architect in the Learning Labs. Learning Labs are exclusively reserved for customers wishing to use specialized equipment or software.
