Learn about the Gwinnett Historical Restoration and Preservation Board's efforts around African American historic preservation in Gwinnett County.
A Community Conversation panel will discuss the programming and community services of the Gwinnett Historical Restoration and Preservation Board. They include guided tours at important Gwinnett landmarks, programs for homeschoolers, early learning programs, exhibits and artifacts on tours, and the new Promised Land Restoration and the Hooper Renwick Projects.
Panelists will include Ann Bender - Gwinnett Historical Restoration & Preservation Board member, Kevin Collins from the Gwinnett Remembrance Coalition, Deacon Gregory Bailey of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Lilburn, Ms. Rubye Neal of the Gwinnett County African-American Historic Preservation Activist and Perry McClendon member of the Nesbit Family (Historic Gwinnett County African American family).
