Let's get together as a community and support each other as friends, and talk about the Murder Mystery novels we enjoy! We meet on the third Wednesday evening of every month. Tonight, we'll be talking about Iron Lake by William Kent Krueger. Cork O’Connor, an ex-cop on Chicago’s South Side, takes on the case of the murder of a controversial but influential judge in Minnesota, after which a young Obijwe Indian boy is reported missing. He has to deal with corruption, conspiracy, scandal, local town officials who obstruct his investigations, and a small town secret uncomfortably close to home.
