A program where patrons will learn the basic survival guide of (entering) college, learning the types of misconceptions and myths that surround starting college, and information to get ready to attend school at a college/university.
In this program, we will go over common misconceptions and myths that people have about attending college. Such as types of information/sayings that teachers may state at schools that is wrong in practice, debunking horror-stories or concerns, and other things of that nature. We will also be going over the basics of college and “surviving” as an adult, and providing information on schooling and helpful resources for new college students. This program will relate to teens, adults, and parents/guardians.
