Calling all Homeschoolers! This month, join us to learn about the origin, history, and science of chocolate
Did you know that chocolate begins as fruits on a tree?
Cacao trees grow fruit (called cacao pods) which contain seeds called cocoa beans that are used to make chocolate. And it takes approximately 400 cocoa beans to produce one pound of chocolate? Join us as we learn about the origin, history, and the production of chocolate.
Then we’ll learn about the chemistry and history of some fun chocolate snacks and taste it.
