Join Ms. Becca for a storytime to learn about Native American Heritage Month! We will sing songs and read stories so children can learn about the vast diaspora of Native American culture. We'll even have the chance to celebrate many of the vibrant traditions such as making dream catchers.
Each culture has their own beliefs, traditions, and ways of life. Learning about the cultures that make up our world and how to be respectful to all is valuable and enriches our lives. Dream catchers are an important symbol for Native American people, so in honor of their significance we will learn about their origin and make our own for this month’s culture craft.
