Do you know how dinosaurs were named? Come learn how Greek and Latin root words were used to name dinosaurs, and then use that knowledge to name & create a dinosaur of your very own!
Paleontologist Richard Owen combined the Greek words “deinos” (terrible) and “sauros” (lizard) to create the name “dinosaur!” In this program, we will learn about Greek and Latin root words in order to decipher dinosaur names, and then use that knowledge to create names and dinosaurs of our very own!
