Join us at the exhibition opening for our second GCPL Photo Annual! This event is part of the Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival. A stunning installation of photographs will be on display throughout our beautiful new Duluth branch. Friday October 14, 2022 at 6:00 - 7:30pm
This year’s theme is “Jumping Through Time.” And we invite submissions that explore the past, the present, or the future through photography. We are looking for broad interpretations of the theme, including fictional narratives, emotional landscapes, literal translations, altered timelines, and more.
This year’s entries are juried by Coco Conroy, the Director at Jackson Fine Art Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. Jackson Fine Art has a 30-year history of supporting fine art photography artists and collectors through the curation, showcasing, and management of several collections. While at Jackson Fine Art, Coco has been apart of many fantastic exhibitions including Bruce Davidson's Brooklyn Gang in 2015, a Sally Mann solo exhibition in 2019 in conjunction with the High Museum, and 2017's collaboration with Matthew Brandt, for which he created site-specific albumen prints using George Barnard's 1864 negatives of a post-Sherman Atlanta.
