What's so great about dirt?! Join us at the Grayson Library to dig in and learn about what makes dirt so important. Then make your own yummy "soil" layer cups - and eat them!
Soil scientists study soil layers to find out more about Earth’s history. Soil science isn’t just limited to labs – you need soil scientists when deciding where to build homes and cities, as well as farming and agriculture. A niche subset of geology that’s not often talked about, we’ll discuss how essential this discipline is and how it contributes to our daily lives.
