Creating compelling storylines doesn't have to be difficult; many stories have followed this common structure throughout history from Homer's Odyssey to The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Join us to learn the basics of this storytelling method to improve your stories.
The Hero’s Journey is a popular storytelling method that shows the reader a character's full story arc, from their call to action to the way they come home changed and transformed. The method often referred to as a Monomyth creates a pattern of events that moves a character through a story. Some of our oldest known pieces of literature follow a similar arc to the hero’s journey.
