Literacy | Reading Buddies

Children practice reading with a volunteer. Registration is now full, but as an alternative, you can use our Book-a-Librarian form to book a slot for a different date and time. Click on the 'Literacy | Reading Buddies' line above and click on the link provided in the description to open that form, then answer the questions, and submit the form.

Children in grades K-4 practice their reading in 30 minute sessions with a reading volunteer.  They can practice learning how to read, oral reading skills, and comprehension.  

Please note that registration opened on Saturday January 11th, 2025, and all the places were filled on that day.   But as an alternative, you can use our Book-a-Librarian form to book a slot, for a different and convenient date and time.  Click here to open that form, and then answer the questions and click the submit button.
