Join us for a friendly and enlightening discussion about Glass Houses by Louise Penny.
Let’s get together as a community and support each other as friends, and talk about the Murder Mystery novels we enjoy! We meet on the third Wednesday evening of every month.
Tonight, we’ll be talking about Glass Houses by Louise Penny. A mysterious figure appears in Three Pines, in Quebec, on a cold November day, and through rain and sleet, it stands unmoving, staring ahead. From the moment its shadow falls over the village, Chief Superintendent Armand Gamache suspects that it has deep roots and a dark purpose, but does nothing, and just waits. But when the figure vanishes overnight and a body is discovered, it falls to Gamache to discover if a debt has been paid or levied. Months later, as the trial for the accused begins, Gamache starts to wonder about his actions back in November.
