Teens ages 12-18 are invited to create their own mini ecosystems by building terrariums out of recycled 2L bottles! This hands-on workshop combines creativity and sustainability, teaching participants how to upcycle materials while designing their personalized terrariums with plants, stones, and decorations.
Calling all homeschool teens ages 12-18! Join us for a fun and eco-friendly workshop where you’ll transform recycled 2L bottles into beautiful, self-sustaining terrariums. Learn how to layer stones, soil, and plants to create your own mini ecosystem, and personalize it with creative decorations like figurines, shells, or colored sand. This hands-on program not only sparks creativity but also highlights the importance of recycling and reusing materials to protect the environment. Take home your unique terrarium and tips to care for it, and leave inspired to make a difference—one bottle at a time.
Please note that this activity is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
