It's a Dirty Job, but Someone Has To Do It. Celebrate Earth Day by making your own plastic bottle landfill.

 Learn how modern landfills use compacted clay and plastic liners to stop toxic liquid (leachate) from polluting groundwater, while pipes collect landfill gas. Different materials degrade at vastly different rates, showing why recycling and reducing waste is crucial.
