Have you wanted to learn or improve your computer graphics imaging skills? Do you want to learn how to create animations, 3d models, special effects, architectural renderings, and other such things? Blender is an amazing (and free!) tool, and it is only getting better. While Blender does take a little while to learn all of the options available; it does much practice and time to master and get proficient at it. Enter the Blender Graphics Club.
This is a flipped-style course where we'll be working on a topic to learn every third week with a google classroom page to help guide us through our learning process. You'll also be able to share your work, get ideas, and hopefully get your questions answered in each meeting. Additionally, we'll have the occasional challenge! This is a live course and will take place virtually over google meet. Click here to join the chat.
Every third week we'll be meeting and discussing various Blender-related topics.
The Blender Graphics Club is recommended for older teens and adults interested in improving their Blender work to the point they can move on and use it (or similar tools) professionally. Our ultimate goal is to build a supportive community of CGI artists who will be able to take their newfound or improved skills and use them on future projects, translate them to use with other professional software, or to get work.
Come and find out if Blender is right for you. Enthusiastic users of all skill levels are welcome!
Our Google Classroom will be updated regularly. You can find it here.
