Join staff for a fun socially-distanced storytime in the park!

Get outdoors for a couple of stories, songs and fun!

Join our socially-distanced storytime at the Alexander Park Pavilion #1 (by the old playground and directly behind it on the grass) on Mondays at 10:30 am. The address is 800 Old Snellville Hwy, Lawrenceville 30044

We ask that everyone please wear a mask (young kids are exempt) until you are seated and when you leave the area (option: can be removed during the storytime for singing, etc.) There will be small blankets available to gather your family on (washed after every use) - or feel free to bring your own blanket from home, to be placed 6 feet from others.

The library's mobile book bus will also be present in the park, kids can board and check out a book (or two!) to take home after storytime is over. The bus will return every week so that book returns are fun & easy to do! (Entry to the mobile library will be limited to one family at a time and masks will need to be worn; also, other safety measures will be taken, i.e surfaces wiped down, etc.)

This will be an experiment for us all, as we try to resume in-person programming in a safe environment. Please be patient and be prepared to have fun!

Please note: as this is held outside, it will be canceled for any inclement weather situation (ACTIVE rain, lightning/thunder, etc)
