Celebrate Black History Month by meeting with your peers and discussing Black representation in art and movies.
The purpose of I.D.E.A. (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, & Awareness) is to build a safe community, increase empathy, and push back against bias. By being exposed to people with different backgrounds, it allows us to learn about different human emotions and experiences. This program will celebrate Black History Month. Attendees will have the option of discussing Black representation in art or Black representation in movies. Attendees are also encouraged to wear their own culture's clothing.
