In 2009, the Dragon Boat Festival was added to the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month on the Lunar Calendar. Join us to learn about this unique festival. Create your own paper dragon boat and origami sticky rice dumplings to celebrate this traditional holiday. Supplies provided. Presented at the Duluth Branch. Ages 3-11.
