Join us at the 2023 GCPL Photo Annual Exhibition Opening and Juror Talk. This event is part of the Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival. This year, we will have a stunning installation of local and international photographs displayed throughout our Duluth branch starting Saturday, October 14, 2023, and ending Friday, November 17th, 2023.
This year's theme is "Altered," and during the summer, we invited submissions that explored eccentric, changed, and unique perspectives through photography. This year's entries are juried by Stephanie Dowda DeMer, an Atlanta-based photographer, experimental media artist, and Professor of Photography and Video at Wesleyan College.
Additional exhibitions featuring local artists only will be displayed at our Grayson and Norcross Branches. This year's virtual exhibition can be viewed through our Photo Annual Blog.
