READing Paws is a program that is dedicated to improving the reading skills of children using registered therapy teams as literacy mentors.
Reading to a therapy dog can build confidence, improve mental well-being, and reduce anxiety and stress.
School-age children, 5 - 10 years, can register for a 15-minute period to practice their reading skills with a trained, friendly dog. Please visit the Lilburn branch for details and to register your child.
