Interested in learning how to code? Get started by learning common principles of coding using the C# syntax.
This is not a scratch coding program. Due to the complex nature of this topic, the minimum age on this program is 12 years old.
Coding skills are becoming increasingly important as technology advances, why not pick up some common coding methodologies with the C# Syntax? This workshop will cover the basics of using C# to create complex code.
During the course of this program, we will learn about creating variables, reading user input, and outputting text to console to Create a Mad lib!
Then we will learn about conditional statements, comparison operators and loops, allowing you to create your very own Number Guessing Game.
Finally, we will introduce you to defining your own functions so you can create clean, complex code.
Due to space and technological constraints, spots are limited and registration is required.
About the Learning Labs
The Learning Labs is Gwinnett County Public library’s community makerspace. Here you can create, podcasts, video and photography content and design digital and printable graphics using the full Adobe Creative Suite. Your imagination is the architect in the Learning Labs. Learning Labs are exclusively reserved for customers wishing to use the specialized equipment or software
