Calling all homeschoolers! Join us as we time travel back to the Harlem Renaissance as we take a deeper look into the history and cultural impact of the Harlem Renaissance.
The Harlem Renaissance is known as a period of rich cross-disciplinary artistic and cultural activity among African Americans during the 1920s and 1930s. During this period many African American literary and performing artists became well known, but artists of all mediums such as sculptors, painters, and print makers were very active during this time. Together we will explore the various artists who made this time period famous for its inspiring and moving art.
This program will have content selected for ages 6-11 and also ages 12-18.
