Do you believe that reading is FUNdamental? Would you like to learn how to build your child's speech, language, and emergent literacy skills while reading together? If so, this series is for you!
According to the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, “interactive shared book reading can support a wide range of early language skills…children who are read to regularly in the early years learn language faster, enter school with a larger vocabulary, and become more successful readers at school”.
Join Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, Meridith Rose (HomeTele SLP) each month to learn about the fundamentals of reading and ways to build your child’s speech, language, and emergent literacy skills while reading together. Each month we will read a different book.
This program is for parents/caregivers and their children, ages 1-5.
The first 10 registered families to arrive for each event will receive a complimentary book to use during the training. Only ONE book per family.
Registration is recommended.
