Children practice reading skills one-on-one with a reading buddy trained in Active Reading.

Emergent readers will learn and practice literacy skills by reading with a volunteer or library staff member trained in Active Reading. Active Reading helps children build vocabulary and increase fluency and understanding. Space is limited and a waiting list will be available.
