Join Sandra Guzmán, editor of "Daughters of Latin America," in conversation with author Anjanette Delgado, as she discusses the groundbreaking anthology of Latine women authors.
Spanning time, styles, and traditions, a dazzling collection of essential works from 140 Latine writers, scholars, and activists from across the world—from warrior poet Audre Lorde to novelist Edwidge Danticat and performer and author Elizabeth Acevedo and artist/poet Cecilia Vicuña—gathered in one magnificent volume.
Daughters of Latin America collects the intergenerational voices of Latine women across time and space, capturing the power, strength, and creativity of these visionary writers, leaders, scholars, and activists—including 24 Indigenous voices.

Sandra Guzmán is an award-winning feminist writer and documentary filmmaker. She was a producer of The Pieces I Am, a critically acclaimed film about the art and life of her literary mentor Toni Morrison. She is the author of the non-fiction book, The New Latina’s Bible. She was editor of Latina and Heart & Soul magazines.
Anjanette Delgado was born in Puerto Rico and writes about heartbreak, displacement, and social justice. She is the award-winning author of the novels The Heartbreak Pill and The Clairvoyant of Calle Ocho. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University and lives in Miami, Florida, where she is at work on her third novel.
