Handwriting hard to read? Have a reluctant writer? Come strengthen your child?s writing developmental skills by practicing with us while writing a picture book! Grades K-3.
Handwriting is an important skill for everyone. According to the National Handwriting Association, students can miss out on opportunities or struggle academically. Recommended for grades K-3!
For 5 weeks, kids will be working towards building a personal picture book incorporating both writing and drawing to tell a story. Each week will focus on the development of a specific part of the book they are writing.
Week 1 (Oct 10): Author Bio
Week 2 (Oct 24): Character Development
Week 3 & 4 (Nov 14 & 28): Story writing and illustrations
Week 5 (Dec 12): The Grand Book Reveal & Story sharing!
Kids are welcome to join us at any week of the series but we highly encourage attending all 5 sessions. All materials will be provided!
