Join Ms. Becca for a fun storytime to explore emotions and feelings for children! Talking about how we feel can make us feel better, so teaching and encouraging children how to identify and express their feelings with others is a very important skill to help them become resilient as they grow.
Have you ever noticed that you feel cranky when you’re hungry? Or that you get a stomach ache when you are about to try something new? Those are feelings! Our feelings are clues to what’s going on inside our bodies and minds, and they’re important to pay attention to. When kids don’t have the words to express themselves, they communicate their feelings through their behavior. Help your child build resilience by encouraging them to identify and communicate their feelings in healthy ways. This storytime will feature songs, stories, and activities to learn about feelings and emotional wellness.
